Information used for your purchase

Google verifies your identity when you sign in. The companion stores your Google account identifier, an internal account ID, your name and email, and a hashed session token with an expiry date. The companion also stores your signed-in account ID and email, the name and country you supply, and an optional institution. Payment records include provider references, amount, currency and status. Stripe handles card information; this website does not store card numbers.

Personal access

The founding learner package costs $25 USD as a one-time payment and grants six calendar months of online access from payment. It does not renew automatically. Access belongs to the purchasing account. Downloaded files remain available for personal learning after online access expires. The book and any external LLM API usage are separate purchases. The personal code confirms that account’s purchase and cannot activate another account. Downloaded notebooks and Python files identify the learner name and a short license reference. Do not redistribute the licensed files, answers or account access.

Downloads and Google Colab

The library records which resources your account downloads and when. It does not execute code or record keystrokes. If you choose Open in Google Colab, Google asks permission to create a personal notebook in your Drive. The app requests only drive.file permission, looks up its own matching notebook to reopen it, and never overwrites your edits. A short-lived Google token stays in browser memory and is sent only to Google; it is not stored on our server. Download and manual upload remains available without this permission. Google operates Drive and Colab under its own terms.

Learning resources

Practice inputs are synthetic. Offline responses are author-written examples, not live model results. Some exercises have several valid answers. Any provider API usage in your own notebook is separate from this companion purchase.

Account questions

Use the author contact provided with your book for access or personal-data requests. Purchase information may need to be retained for transaction records and dispute handling. This page describes the implemented data flow; the operator must finalize customer-support and commercial terms before opening checkout.
